NRSH is a contemporary garden-to-table cafe & restaurant. All of its ingredients are sourced from the restaurant’s garden, making it highly sustainable. The restaurant is also entirely vegan and follows a wasteless policy. Because this is a  garden-to-table restaurant located in sunny California, the menu varies by season.

Moodboard

My vision included drawn colorful and vibrant fruits and vegetables juxtaposed with a neutral color palette, contemporary layouts, and organic typefaces.

Sketches

After putting together my moodboard, I moved to my sketchbook and drew out logo options for the restaurant.

Logo

The NRSH brand includes a logotype and lettermark. The terminals of the characters are slighlty modified to mimic a leaf-like appearance and they rest on a miminal line that acts as a table, further emphasizing the garden-to-table aspect.

Signage

The signage features both logo options.

Interior

I created a pattern of fruit and vegetable illustrations that could be used throughout the brand materials to reinforce the garden-to-table aspect.

Menus

NRSH provides three menus including drinks, main menu, and dessert. All recipes are made using seasonal ingredients from the restaurant’s garden.

Cafe Juice

NRSH Cafe sells a variety of freshly-pressed juices including 100% beet, carrot, and mixed berry juice.

To-Go Bags

NRSH provides two types of to-go bags: the left bag is for desserts while the right bag is for savory dishes.

Employee Shirts

I wanted to utilize the fruit and vegetable pattern in a new and unique way, so I placed some of the ingredients in a minimal bowl, which I used throughout various brand materials.

Business Cards

Social

In order for the restaurant to gain more recognition, I designed a series of Instagram posts utilizing NRSH’s color palette and other brand materials.

Tote Bag

The tote bag is another way to promote the restaurant. It would be sold at the restaurant’s cafe as well as online.

Brand Standards

The brand standards manual summarizes NRSH’s brand identity. It features the logo and lockup, dos and donts, typography, and color palette.
